Mickey Dolenz and The Legends wrapped up the three day concert series at the “big stage.” With absolutely perfect weather and a beautiful atmosphere, the temporary stage area in Ashland’s Central Park was host to the first three days of exciting concerts for Summer Motion 2009.
The concert series moves to the permanent grand stand in Central Park on Saturday and Sunday. There are many more activities ongoing throughout the weekend in the park. With more than 60 vendors in the crafts village, great food, free entertainment, car show, 10K run, OCW Wrestling, fireworks and more, there is something for everyone.

In honor of our service men and women who have fallen in the fight against terrorism we have a special event on Sunday. A motorcycle rally paying tribute to the fallen Kentuckians in the War on Terrorism will stop by the Central Park Bandstand on Sunday,
July 5 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Some Gave All is a 1,100 mile, 10 town hall stop, 5 day motorcycle rally across the state of Kentucky, paying tribute to Kentucky’s Fallen Warriors who paid the ultimate price for freedom.
