WTCR will host the semi-final round of the 28th annual Colgate Country Showdown Sunday, July 5th from 11am-2pm at Ashland’s Central Park during Summer Motion. Several lucky contestants will compete in America’s largest country music talent search and 10 finalists will move on to the finals July 15th at the Lawrence County Fair.
Several country music stars got their start in the Colgate Country Showdown including: Garth Brooks, Sara Evans and our very own Billy Ray Cyrus. Contestants battle it out nationally for a chance to win $100,000.
